How To Order On Jumia Website Or Mobile App
- Visit the Jumia official website at www.jumia.com.ng or download the Jumia App
- Sign in if you are an existing customer or sign up if you are new to Jumia
- Search your favorite item or go through their categories and tags for your desired items
- Select what you want and add it to the cart
- Specify the quantity of what you want
- Click on the cart basket to checkout
- Select Continue Shopping if you have other items you still want to buy or simply click on the checkout button.
- Click Confirm Order to confirm your order
- Pick a delivery method: Door Delivery or Pickup – by picking it up yourself in nearby Jumia center
- Click to continue to the payment section and select a payment method which could be by JumiaPay, Your Credit/Debit Card, or Cash on Delivery.
- Enter your Jumia voucher code and validate it to ensure it is working.
- Confirm the Order and make the payment if you choose to pay instantly or pay on delivery if you have opted for that.

- You will be called upon by the delivery person or asked to pick it up (depending on the one you opt-in for)
- An authenticator code will be sent to you, just to ensure you are the rightful owner of the ordered item
- You will then be presented with options to pay.
- If it is a small item, you can easily pay with cash but when the amount is substantial, you might want to opt-in for other cash-on-delivery payment options
- You can pay via Jumia POS. The process is simple, just present them your ATM card and make payment or
- You can request to do a transfer to Jumia Partner bank and often once successful, it will automatically authentic payment success
- Another option is using JumiaPay. By this, a code will be generated which you will use to make payment.
Any of the payment options at the point of delivery that suit you can work, however, sometimes from my experience, the delivery guys will only present you with options that favor them.
They can tell you the only option available is either through POS or Bank transfer. However, it’s up to you to agree on the methods you want to use.
Please note that some of the delivery methods might not work, so you will need to cooperate with the delivery person to tell you the available options. Notwithstanding, I believe by now you are familiar with all the payment options
NOTE:
- Overseas items are not eligible for Pay On Delivery. Any overseas order has to be paid outrightly.
- The Value of what you are buying has to be between 3,000 Naira to 150,000 for you to qualify for Pay on Delivery. Anything below or above is not accepted
